This week year 4 have been the exciting Jorvik Viking centre in York and have witnessed first hand the remains of the ancient Viking settlement found at Coppergate in York.

They were whisked through time to visit the Viking dockside and experience the smells and sights of Viking life in Jorvik.

Afterwards they were shown some Viking artefacts found around York and had a close up experience with some real Viking poo!
