In 5AB we celebrated World Book Day starting by enjoying a book scavenger hunt’ in which we were looking through various books finding different descriptions and grammatical features. We then went to visit the EYFS and KS1 library which we all loved! We enjoyed reading to our reception pupils, telling them some of our favourite stories! Then we enjoyed some quiet reading our very own books in our immersive suite, where we were taken to our own special library and read by torch light. We finished our day off by researching Berlie Doherty the author of our class text ‘Street Child’.
